Holding These Stories: Artfully Excavating Legacies of Whiteness is a workshop that moves participants through an artistic excavation of the ways in which whiteness has left an imprint on their lineage and lives – first exploring the ancestral stories and symbols that carry forward harmful beliefs, then unlocking creative ways to transform them. This workshop builds on 900 Gallons and begins with a short reading of it.
Holding These Stories examines personal legacies of whiteness. Anyone, of any cultural background/s, wishing to examine the presence of whiteness in their family history is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Space is limited. Please RSVP here by Thursday, March 29 to hold your spot.
